Medical Residential Services <\/strong><\/p>\n Medical Residential Services (Med Res) provides 24\u2011hour residential support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who have complex medical needs requiring ongoing nursing oversight and specialized care. Services are delivered in licensed residential homes and are fully regulated by the Department of Disabilities and Aging (DDA).<\/p>\n Med Res programs prioritize health, safety, and stability while supporting individuals in all aspects of daily living. Services include medication management, ongoing health monitoring, coordination of medical appointments, and implementation of physician\u2011ordered treatments and individualized care plans. Nursing staff collaborate closely with direct support professionals, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and timely response to changing medical needs.<\/p>\n Although medical oversight is central to the program, Med Res remains firmly person\u2011centered. Each individual\u2019s services are tailored to their unique medical, personal, and support needs, promoting dignity, comfort, and quality of life within a home\u2011like environment.<\/p>\n We Facility<\/strong><\/p>\n An Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) provides 24-hour care and supervision\u00a0for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who need ongoing support but do not require hospital or nursing-home-level care.<\/p>\n A core component of ICF services is Active Treatment, which follows Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS)\u00a0guidelines and DDA regulations. Active Treatment is a continuous, individualized approach focused on teaching and supporting skills that promote independence, functional abilities, and overall quality of life.
