Compassion is the foundation of the families who partner with Michael Dunn Center to provide safe, supportive homes for adults with developmental disabilities. Our Family Model Services team works with great care to match individuals seeking a stable home environment with families who are ready to open their hearts and their homes. Through the guidance and coordination of our staff, both individuals and host families experience more meaningful, fulfilling, and peaceful lives.

Family Model Residential Services also plays a vital role in supporting each person’s ongoing growth and independence. As individuals improve in health, daily living skills, and overall functioning, they may transition through various levels of support — from Community Living to a Family Model home, and, when appropriate, to independent living. This progression allows each person to move forward at a pace that reflects their strengths, goals, and readiness.
