Activities Enjoyed: I love working in the community where I get to talk with people and have made many friends. I like making money from working to spend on things I want.

How has this service recipient benefited from the service provided by MDC?
I arrived at the Michael Dunn Center in 1979 to receive residential and employment services. My first employment opportunity arrived within the Michael Dunn Center greenhouse. The greenhouse was located on the premises of the Michael Dunn Center and supervised by Michael Dunn Center staff. I was employed there until 2006 at which time I assumed a position working with an enclave at the Roane County Recycling Center. Since that time my supervisor's have stated many times that I have grown as an individual both personally and professionally.
